2023 Tryout Information

All players wanting to try out must have a completed physical form turned in to the SGP training staff before January 20th. All players wishing to try out must also complete everything listed below.

Tryout Meeting – Tuesday, January 10th at 3:15pm at the baseball field. Anyone that plans to tryout for the baseball team should be at this meeting.

Tryout Form – Must be completed by January 19th

Physical Form – Must turn in to SGP trainers (email to [email protected]) by January 19th

Online Forms – Rank One – Must be completed by January 19th

Our tryout process will mirror that of a typical baseball tryout where we will evaluate player’s speed, arm strength, fielding ability, and ability to hit.

Friday – January 20, 2023

3:30pm-4:00pm – Check-In – Registration (at the concession stand)

4:00pm – Introduction

4:05pm – Tryouts begin

6pm – Players released for the day

SATURDAY – JANUARY 21, 2023

9:45am – All remaining tryout players will participate in an intrasquad game.

12:00pm – Players released for the day
