Here is the list of players that have made our baseball program for the 2022 season. Players should be prepared to practice after school on Monday starting at 3:30pm. Contact Coach Ylda (paul.ylda@gpisd.org) if you have any questions.
2022 Tryout Information
All players wanting to tryout must have a completed physical form turned into the SGP training staff before January 20th. The trainers will issue you a red slip that you must turn in to the baseball coaches at registration. No red slip, no tryout. All players wishing to tryout must also complete everything listed below.
Tryout Form – Must fill out by January 20th
Physical Form – Must turn in to SGP trainers by January 20th
Online Forms – Rank One – Must be completed by January 20th
Our tryout process will mirror that of a typical baseball tryout where we will evaluate player’s speed, arm strength, fielding ability, and ability to hit.
Friday – January 21, 2022
3:30pm-4:00pm – Check-In – Registration (at the concession stand)
4:00pm – Introduction
4:05pm – Tryouts begin
6-6:15pm – Players released for the day
SATURDAY – JANUARY 22, 2022
10:00am – All tryouts players will participate in a intrasquad game.
12:00pm – Players released for the day
